Grand Cherokee [“ZJ”] Project
Click on boxes below to view different phases of the build.
It all began in August of 2014. That was when I purchased a completely stock 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee off Craigslist. I figured this would be both a fun and challenging way to enter the world of "Jeeping". Modifying a "ZJ" is much less popular than a Cherokee or Wrangler. Below are some of the stats of the Jeep when it was stock and where it sits today. Use the boxes above to see a more detailed write-up on each section of the build, including parts used, the process, and more photos.

I'm always looking for more modifications to add to the project. The Jeep has come a long way since I first got it, and it certainly isn't done yet. One thing to note: this is still my daily driver! That being said, I can't get too crazy -- yet. The modifications up to this point have made the vehicle more reliable, more capable, and more enjoyable to drive. It has tackled trails like the Backway to CK, Broken Arrow, Devil's Highway and others. Check out the videos below of the project so far. More specifics can be found using the boxes above.
